In this workshop, you will learn how to use NumPy to implement your own computing tasks in Python. Started with an overview of what makes Python slow compared to other languages and how NumPy arrays help to overcome these problems. You will also look at NumPy's memory model, be introduced to the most useful features of the package and be shown how to use NumPy for various tasks - from element-wise array operations to linear algebra and implementing numerical methods.
