The event will take place on the 12th of February 2025 from 14:00 to 14:30 as a webinar on Zoom. The lecture language is German.
In this coffee lecture, Karola Möhrin will present the EU's Artificial Intelligence Act, which came into force on the 1st of August 2024. The roles defined in the AI Act will be presented and categorised in terms of their relevance for researchers. Furthermore, the categorisation of AI systems into different risk categories and their potential impact on research on AI systems will be discussed.
